Dr. Charlotte Williams, DVM, BSc
Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Charlotte Williams grew up in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, and spent her summers on the family farm north of Maidstone, surrounded by animals and learning the importance of hands-on care. She earned her veterinary degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and founded Hooves and Paws Veterinary Clinic in 1996, bringing mixed animal care to rural southwest Saskatchewan.
Dr. Williams is deeply passionate about helping people get the best out of their relationship with their animals—whether they’re beloved pets, working animals, or livestock. Her calm, knowledgeable approach has earned the trust of families throughout the region. When not in the clinic, she enjoys gardening, hiking the Coteau Hills, and watching Saskatchewan’s beautiful sunsets with her husband and their pets.

Ashley Hann
I am the Hooves and Paws Receptionist. Born and raised in the community of Elrose, I’ve known Charlotte’s family for years, and she has always felt like a part of our family as our primary vet. My love for animals began as a young girl growing up on the family farm; riding horses, raising 4-H steers and showing Shetland Sheepdogs with my mom competitively. Today, my husband and I call the 4th-generation family farm home, where we have a small broodmare operation and a growing cattle herd. We have two purebred Australian Cattle Dogs named Benny and Mack, who keep us on our toes! I enjoy competing in rodeo: barrel racing, team roping and breakaway roping. When I’m not greeting clients at the clinic, I also run a high-performance life coaching business. My favourite part of being on the team is feeling connected with the members of our community and, of course, all the puppy/kitty cuddles!

Elizabeth Rast
I grew up in Kindersley, SK, with a love for animals that started on the farm and never faded. I graduated from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2024 and was lucky to complete two years of hands-on training here at the clinic as a student. After graduating, I was thrilled to stay on as a full-time RVT. I feel fortunate to work in a field where I can care for animals of all kinds and support the people who love them. Outside the clinic, I foster dogs through New Hope Dog Rescue and share my home with a plucky senior cat named Marmee and a judgmental bearded dragon named Jager.
